We hear a great deal about the Law of Attraction nowadays and wonder how effective it really is. Such a lot is spoken about it that it almost becomes a mantra.

So much so, that we're led to believe that the Law of Attraction, apart from the Law of Gravity, is the only Universal Law. This has to be nonsensical. There must be hundreds of other Laws which have yet to be encountered and which, when they are, the scientists will consider them in just the same way as they consider the Law of Attraction.

They sniff around this Law like a dog that's found something deeply suspicious in the garden. They look upon it as anecdotal, empirical at best.

But the truth of the matter is that it's all part of our make-up, isn't it? We all have it built in to our subconscious.

Ah, they say, but how about all the people who are poor, disenfranchised, unhappy? How can they have the Law within them? But, you see, they do. The fact that they are as they are means that they've been using the Law in the wrong way. They haven't been introduced to the positive aspects.

Now please understand that I'm writing from a personal belief here. I'm not an expert. I'm not a psychiatrist, neither have I travelled the world listening to the various authorities and studying under the great minds of our times.

My words, if you like, are the rattle of a simple man, who nevertheless experienced the power of the Law nearly thirty years ago.

Marrying hypnosis to this attraction leaves me in no doubt at all of the efficacy of the system.

I watched a most interesting television programme some days ago. In fact, it was the opposite of the type of fare I like. It was one of those Reality shows, on which I'm frankly not at all keen.

However, and this was by no means the main part, or 'raison d'etre' of the show, this chap had a gambling habit. Now, he enjoyed his gambling, but he was definitely becoming a little worried by it. It was costing too much and beginning to take over his life.

This lady offered to hypnotize him and rid him of his habit. Now if anyone was against hypnosis, this gentleman was. He considered the whole thing 'hocus-pocus,' as he put it, but I think it was anything for a quiet life, and he allowed her to go ahead.

We weren't privy to the whole session, but at the end, he had to admit that he felt peaceful and relaxed.

The door of his mind was by no means slammed shut, but he can hardly be described as an open minded person about that sort of thing.

That was that and the show went on about its other business.

This family was re-visited about three months later, and this man no longer gambled, nor did he have any wish to do so. Now, I found this fascinating. Here we have someone who definitely didn't believe in the power of hypnosis, finding out that it did indeed work.

Let hypnosis link hands with the Law of Attraction and approach the whole subject as a believer, and I'm sure you'll agree that the latent power is enormous.

To be very honest, whether or not we're all made up of energy, including the Universe, I neither know nor care. I'm too simple for the machinations and higher physics of all this.

All I know is - it works, and I state categorically that, provided the exercises are carried out correctly, anyone who attempts this properly and fervently, will succeed.
